Personality: He's aloof and flirty, willing to flirt with anyone and everyone that he can. Because of this he can come off as too friendly, or just plain rude sometimes. Once he's warmed up to you, he normally stops, and is generally friendly, despite being quick to anger. He is also very bad at holding grudges, and has an extreme love for food. His favourite kinds are corned beef hash and anything sweet. His love for sweets goes so far that he normally carries a bag of some kind of candy on him at all times, which he sometimes gives to people to try to cheer them up.

Background: Tristan is from Toronto, Canada, where he lived with his mom, dad, and brother, Liam, until he was chosen for Hopes Peak Academy. Having learned Japanese online by helping teach a Japanese friend English, his Japanese is fairly good for not being his native language. He learned to skate shortly after learning to walk, his brother being a popular hockey player as well. He quickly surpassed his brother in skill though, and was offered scholarships to the best schools in the country for his hockey ability. When he was very young, he didn't have many friends due to his aggression and size, so he attempted to become kinder, starting to flirt with anyone he saw, and compliment them left and right. It mostly comes off as him being obnoxious though.
