Chapter 1- Your School Days Start Here

You find yourself at the front gate of your new school. Glancing down at the piece of paper you hold, you assure yourself that you are indeed at the right place. A sign above the gate reads “Hope’s Peak Academy”. You sigh to yourself, a tad bit nervous. The first day of your high school career is about to begin. But as you walk through the front gate, you feel your heart skip a beat and you feel yourself falling. The world starts spinning and everything goes black.


You wake up in a dimly lit classroom. You sit up, and upon closer examination you realise the classroom’s windows have been blocked with sheets of steel. Your bag appears to be gone, much to your confusion. You are completely alone.


On the blackboard, you see a message written in brightly-coloured chalk. “All first-years please gather in the gymnasium for orientation!” Underneath is a crudely-drawn map of the school’s first floor. You decide it would be best to head down to the gym. With nothing but the clothes on your back, you leave the classroom. So much for a normal school year.
